The Langham, Melbourne serves up a bounty of pink treats to celebrate breast cancer awareness month

Aria Lounge will showcase the sweetest shades of pink with a Sparkling Pink High Tea each weekend during the month of October to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The tea will help raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation that funds life-changing breast cancer research in Australia.

For four weekends only, Langham high tea lovers will be spoiled with uplifting treats from vanilla cupcake topped with glittery raspberry butter-cream, strawberry and cream macarons with candied rose petal as well as pastel pink cake pops, rhubarb and Belgian white chocolate tart and lychee cube with Wedgwood tea tear drop. Plus, those with a sweet tooth can indulge in whipped raspberry panna cotta with lavender crumble and almost-too-good-to-eat iced pink profiteroles with crème diplomat and raspberry.

Renowned as the hotel brand that favours pale pink, the Sparkling Pink High Tea will also include pink velvet gateau, wild berry Eton mess and rose opera cake with pink glaze.

The Sparkling Pink High Tea is available every weekend in October. There will be two sessions every Saturday and Sunday, 11.30am concluding at 1.30pm and 2.30pm concluding at 4.30pm.

In addition to the abundance of sweet treats on offer including traditional buttermilk scone and chocolate chip scones served with strawberry and rose petal preserve and fresh cream, guests will also dine on sandwiches and savouries such as rare roast beef roll with Pommery mustard and horseradish mayonnaise, balsamic onion marmalade and watercress, smoked turkey roulade with cranberry jelly and pea shoots, Yarra Valley smoked salmon with calamansi curd, glazed asparagus and salmon roe on rye bread, citrus-infused cream cheese with mint and compressed cucumber finger sandwich as well as a warm miniature pie filled with truffled parsnip cream.

The Sparkling Pink High Tea is served with a glass of sparkling wine, espresso coffee, hot chocolate or Wedgwood tea.

Adults dine for $89.00 per person while children aged 4-12 dine for half price. Both are inclusive of a $5.00 donation to the National Breast Cancer Fund.

Enjoying an afternoon of indulgence has never been so guilt free. Guests are invited to gather girlfriends, mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, cousins, grandmothers, school friends, work colleagues and more all in the name of a worthy cause.

Dressing up in pink is encouraged and entirely optional.
