The Langham, Melbourne invites you to the Lion Guard High Tea

May 2018…. On weekdays from Monday 2 July until Friday 20 July, The Langham, Melbourne’s Aria Lounge won’t quite be a jungle, but there will be a wild, Lion Guard-themed high tea available for children and the young at heart.

Cries of Hakuna Matata will be heard as families gather to enjoy a Pride Lands-inspired menu complete with cute Kion cupcakes, jungle tacos, Ushari spaghetti cups, Pride Lands chocolate mousse, cornflake-covered chicken strips, Thurston and Fuli Oreos plus traditional favourites including fresh-from-the-oven buttermilk scones, cucumber ribbon sandwiches, cream cheese pinwheels and everyone’s perennial preference, a ham and cheese triangle sandwich.

The Lion Guard high tea is available for $39.00 per child, or $49.00 per child including a Lion Guard plush toy to take home.

Adults can choose to indulge in The Lion Guard High Tea or the hotel’s renowned Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood including espresso coffee, loose-leaf tea and a glass of sparkling wine for $59.00 or $69.00 for the Lion Guard High Tea and plush toy to take home.

The Lion Guard High Tea is available from 10am until 11.30am or 12.30pm until 2pm.

“The Lion King has to be one of the most uplifting musicals and movies of all time. My son now enjoys Disney’s Lion Guard. The pastry team and I had a wild time bringing the jungle to life through treats for children and adults alike,” said Deepak Mishra, The Langham, Melbourne’s Executive Chef.

Children can come dressed up as their most beloved Lion Guard character. Adults are encouraged to wear animal print too, why not? They say leopard-print is never out of fashion.

Bookings can be made by contacting ariabar.com.au or by calling 1800 641 107.
