From Sunday 26th January 2020 to Monday 27th January 2020 Melba Restaurant will be celebrating Australia Day with some of Australia’s most infamous seafood as well as some of the more traditional Australian proteins.

Diners can feast on succulent Moreton Bay Bugs from Queensland accompanied with a brandy cocktail sauce, Mooloolaba king prawns, Coffin Bay oysters Kilpatrick, sweet flathead from Lakes Entrance, Bermagui Yellowfin tuna, speciality Sake infused abalone sashimi from Indented Head, east of Geelong in Victoria.

Australia Day would not be the same without a traditional meat pie. In addition to the meat pie you can enjoy BBQ pork and herb sausages from Flinders Island, just off Tasmania, baked barramundi fillet with a shallot, ginger and bush lime glaze, crispy crackling pork belly from the Victorian High Country.

The best is yet to come with classic blocks of vanilla slice, Aussie lamingtons, violet crumble chocolate cup cake and wattle seed pavlova, mango coulis and macadamia nuts.
