Not only are our chefs highly skilled and internationally trained and acclaimed but they are experienced in the art of ensuring our guests are truly satisfied when they dine at Melba.
Anthony Ross, Executive Chef at The Langham, Melbourne shares his experience and demonstrates his passion for interactive cooking, borne from his student days wandering the open air markets of Hong Kong.
Anthony has also been named Best Food and Beverage Service Employee of the Year at the 2010 Australian Hotels Association National Awards for Excellence. The award recognise outstanding performance by metropolitan and regional Victorian hotels.
Once a year Anthony and his brigade are an integral part of the Langham Melbourne Masterclass, at The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, coordinating and preparing the dishes for the world’s acclaimed Michelin star chefs.
At Melba specialty international dishes such as Japanese sushi, Chinese, Indian and Italian, are prepared by chefs who are native to that country. Guests delight in requesting dishes “made to order” and smiling chefs oblige.
Desserts are created under the masterful eye of our German pastry chef Marcus Bohm who delights and surprises guests with an abundant display of delicate, delicious and decadent desserts.
And behind the scenes a dedicated brigade prepare and create the freshest seasonal ingredients for your Melba experience.
